Survey shows college students largely support pro-Palestinian protests
Briefly

Nearly two-thirds of college students are at least somewhat supportive of pro-Palestinian protests on their campuses, according to an Intelligent.com survey of 763 current, full-time college students.
Of those supportive, a significant percentage approve of tactics like violence (36%) and hate speech (37%), while an overwhelming majority support blocking graduation (38%), disrupting classes (46%), and setting up encampments on campus (75%).
Some supporters hold unfavorable views of Jewish people, with 8% of supportive students and 10% of protesters themselves expressing such sentiments. Opponents of the protests also show similar percentages of unfavorable views, at four percent.
Despite the support for the protests, only 43% of supporters have actually participated in them. While advocating for the right to protest, students believe demonstrators should face consequences for illegal activities, with only 18% opposing legal punishments.
