Students, parents rally as another San Jose school district considers closures
Briefly

"I am feeling really sad and really disappointed that any school, any child within this district has to be relocated," said Trang Huynhnguyen, reflecting the emotional toll on families.
"Unfortunately, like countless public school districts across the Bay Area, the Berryessa Union School District (BUSD) has experienced a significant decline in enrollment over the past decade," stated the district, explaining the financial pressures behind the potential closures.
"Why are we even accepting this? We shouldn't," expressed one speaker at the rally, capturing the frustration and determination of parents advocating for their schools.
Many parents have found the closure process confusing, with one parent asking, "Are you going to do something to stop it?" highlighting the distress caused by potential school relocations.
