Franks highlights that "students were being sent from one office to another to seek help, and most fell through the cracks," illustrating the need for a structured support system.
The Shepherd Success Academy, created to combat low retention rates, has since broadened its reach, now providing vital support to all students seeking assistance.
With over 40 percent of Shepherd students being first-generation or low-income learners, the Academy plays a crucial role in enhancing their college success through dedicated coaching.
