SVCTE is open to county students, with free transportation to and from San Jose Unified School District schools; enrollment occurs through home high school counselors. New courses include an AI engineering class that teaches Python and machine learning for intelligent system design, and a metals technology pre-apprenticeship tied to the newly approved Field Ironworkers Pre-Apprenticeship program. San Jose City College Theater will host the Liberation Lens Film Festival Feb. 4 featuring films on political education, healing and community-driven liberation; tickets cost $12.51.
