Ron DeSantis says new law limiting book challenges will stop liberals from abusing the system
Briefly

On Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed into law an education bill that included a limit on who can challenge books and how many challenges they can register...people who are not the parent or guardian of a student enrolled in a Florida school can only challenge one book per month.
Teachers and students can now say gay - as long as it's not part of official classroom instruction... critics say the change doesn't go far enough to address the endless stream of book challenges in the state.
