Ranking The Most 'Devout' Law Schools (2025)
Briefly

The National Jurist's preLaw Magazine has unveiled its ranking of the Most Devout Law Schools, emphasizing those institutions that integrate spirituality into their legal education. The methodology considers factors like student and faculty religious affiliation, the availability of faith-based courses, and the presence of religious services or centers. Unlike previous years, this ranking combines schools under one umbrella instead of categorizing them by specific denominations. Prominent schools such as Liberty University and Brigham Young University topped the list, reflecting their commitment to a faith-integrated legal education.
The Most Devout Honor Roll is based on information gathered from law schools and other sources, including the percentage of students and faculty who belong to the faith; the number of religion-focused courses and other ways the school incorporates faith into its curriculum.
For the second time in the history of this ranking, the schools are being presented in a single ranking, as opposed to separate rankings of the best law schools by denomination.
