Drapers' Maylands Primary School has been closed for two days due to a suspected Norovirus outbreak, following Public Health England's advice to ensure safety.
Headteacher Trudy Spillane communicated to parents that the school would remain closed today, emphasizing the need for further information as it becomes available.
Norovirus, known as the 'winter vomiting bug', causes severe gastrointestinal symptoms and spreads easily, necessitating strict hygiene practices like frequent handwashing.
