PUSD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hawn highlighted that Measure P is crucial for generating revenue to attract and retain quality educators and sustain exceptional educational programs at Piedmont schools.
The early election returns indicated that registered voters overwhelmingly supported Measure P; it received nearly 80% approval, significantly exceeding the 66% threshold needed for passage.
In the uncontested board race for the Piedmont Unified School District, Michael Malione, Max Roman, and Susy Struble were elected, serving from January 2025 onward.
Measure P will replace the existing special tax from Measure H and becomes effective on June 20, 2025, providing ongoing financial support for the school district.
