N.Y.U. Says It Will Discipline Students Who Remain in Encampment
Briefly

On Sunday night, college officials presented the protesters with two options: end the overnight stays without consequences or stay and possibly face conduct charges, according to the statement.
Dylan Hernandez, a student and spokesman for the N.Y.U. Palestine Solidarity Coalition, criticized the university, claiming officials were not negotiating in good faith while threatening protesters with police intervention and disciplinary measures.
The position of the students is that they will not move until N.Y.U. shows good faith. It would be an honor for us to be the targets of disciplinary measures for standing in solidarity with Palestine.
On Monday afternoon, the mood was calm as students gathered at the encampment behind N.Y.U.'s academic building, stating they responded to the university's options by choosing to stay.
