"Lectures on Tap" invites professors to present intriguing subjects to working adults who might not otherwise have the chance to delve into diverse academic fields, blending education with leisure.
Attendee Amanda Firine shared her experience, stating, "This lecture was not related to my field of study, but as someone who is always curious... I was drawn to this topic because it's something I had never learned about before."
Tyrone and Felecia Freely noted that the idea stemmed from their own experiences at TED Talks in DC. They wanted to create similar engaging educational experiences for others in New York.
