On the first day of school, I checked his AirTag a few times that day, and it showed him at school. I pictured him having a great first day.
Our plan was for Stevie to take the bus directly to therapy after school. But his online student profile hadn't been updated, so I was worried he might be bused home.
At 3:45, I stared at the AirTag, trying to figure out where my son was. The school said Stevie had been absent, I called 911.
It was a whim, but it ended up being critically important. I was already anxious about Stevie starting school, and this added more stress.
