As a parent of neurodiverse children, I see the struggles both parents and students face. Not everyone learns the same way and it is important to connect with students in ways that best help them absorb knowledge.
People deserve respect, no matter who they are. School should be an enriching experience and I would love to see students excited to go to school every day.
I am proud to serve my community and create a future where every student can thrive, no matter who they are.
Having a married couple on the board really seemed like an improper representation of the district, as one family held two out of the five decision-making positions for over 2,000 students.
