Los Gatos voters to decide on bond measure for elementary, middle schools
Briefly

Eleanor Tullis, campaign chair for Measure CC, emphasized the importance of safety: 'Safety and security is always top of mind for me, as it is with the district, and one of the things that the bond is looking to do is improving security... improving the perimeter fencing.'
The bond measure will allow the district to access $163 million for improvements, with repayments through annual property taxes of approximately $29.98 per $100,000 of assessed property value.
Supporters believe Measure CC represents a substantial investment in the district’s future and the educational environment, focusing on essential projects outlined in a comprehensive facilities master plan.
Opponents argue against Measure CC, pointing to a previous $99 million bond; however, no such measure exists for the Los Gatos Union School District.
