Measure B is a $195 million bond to paint, repair, and update Antioch schools. Students' poor state test scores, such as 8% proficiency in Math at Black Diamond Middle School, reflect the need to prioritize academics over aesthetics.
Our school district has a superintendent, principals, and curriculum coordinators with master's degrees, yet struggles to help students succeed academically. The call is made for prioritizing academic excellence over surface-level improvements.
