"What you see is the result of a collaborative journey between three fields: education, architecture, and fabrication. The educational perspective guided us in designing a school that responds to the needs of children in a world increasingly dominated by digital technology, fostering instead a connection to nature. The architects shaped forms, spaces, and light that make every living being-children, plants, and animals-feel recognized and alive."
Design arises from a collaborative integration of education, architecture, and fabrication. The educational perspective directed the design toward meeting children's needs in an increasingly digital world while deliberately fostering a connection to nature. Architects organized forms, spaces, and light to make inhabitants—children, plants, and animals—feel recognized and alive within the environment. Fabrication provided the means to realize these spatial and material intentions. The overall approach emphasizes sensory, biophilic, and experiential qualities that prioritize embodied learning and the affirmation of all living beings in the school setting.
