International students from India flocked to the U.S. in record numbers last year, with a 35% increase compared to the previous year.
In addition to the overall increase in international student enrollments, graduate student enrollments reached an all-time high.
The rise in international student numbers also coincides with expanding scientific collaborations between the U.S. and India, as both countries aim to counter China's influence.
