Hands-on 3D printing workshop provides troubleshooting, show-and-tell, certification training, an overview of printer mechanics, guidance on finding and designing STL files, and opportunity to print an object. Class is two hours in Room 214, open to ages 10 and up, with no prerequisites; 3D Printing Certification is available. RSVP and ticket purchase must be completed through the Ace Makerspace website; new guests must create a free guest account and sign a liability waiver before the session begins. Ace Makerspace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; donations and proceeds support programs, equitable makerspace access, and community services in Oakland.
