Anti-Israel student and teacher protesters at NYC universities plan campus walkouts on Oct. 7 anniversary

The walkouts are expected to begin around 11:30 a.m. Monday at Columbia University, with law enforcement sources telling The Post that police and campus security are aware and preparing to monitor the situation.

Jewish students are planning to respond with their own vigil in remembrance of the roughly 1,200 Israelis killed on Oct 7, 2023.

Columbia became the epicenter of campus protests in the Big Apple during the last school year, with an anti-Israel encampment springing up on the school's main quad.

The situation became so fraught that security checkpoints were set up around campus resulting in block-long queues for students just trying to get to class.
