Accepted but trapped: Why won't the UK evacuate its students from Gaza?
Briefly

Palestinian students in Gaza, accepted into top UK universities, face immense challenges and political indifference preventing their evacuation. After enduring war and displacement to secure spots at renowned institutions, they remain trapped without options. Unlike other countries that evacuated their students, the UK has not provided any pathways for these students, leaving them without a visa center or means to travel. The ongoing conflict has hindered their education and aspirations, yet their determination to pursue studies continues amid adversity.
Many countries, such as France, Ireland and Italy, have successfully evacuated their students through government-coordinated efforts and humanitarian corridors, like via the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). These governments made it clear that their students matter. The UK has not.
Despite its global standing and historic reputation for championing justice and education, it remains silent. This is not just my story. It is a collective cry from dozens of us.
