A teen dropped out of high school during WWII. Now 99, she just graduated.

Eleanor Monninger, 99, earned her high school diploma more than 80 years after she left high school in 1942. At her graduation ceremony, she faced 3,000 people and was surrounded by nearly 150 younger graduates, receiving a standing ovation.
Monninger was always self-conscious about not graduating high school, but on her graduation day, she proudly donned her cap and gown, demonstrating that it's never too late to accomplish a long-held dream.
