One of the Last Water Towers on the North Fork

A rare six-story water tower stands at 880 Water Mill Road in Mattituck, a property listed for $1.629 million. Built in 1898 by Daniel Dana Jackson, the 70-foot brick tower remains one of the few surviving examples in the area. While its exterior is landmarked, the interior offers flexible space. The accompanying main house built in 1990 integrates reclaimed materials, features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and provides access to the Mattituck Inlet for recreational activities.
