Pizza My Heart expands to the Fremont Hub
"The newest pizzeria opens at 11 a.m. today, May 12, at the Fremont Hub shopping center, giving the company a second Alameda County location - and giving this staff a chance to build up to their Free Slice Day on Thursday the 14th. The giveaway will run from from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m."
"Pizza My Heart specializes in whole pies and slices topped with nitrite/nitrate-free pepperoni and bacon; antibiotic-free chicken; and regionally sourced vegetables. The most popular is the Big Sur, with cloves of garlic (roasted until mild) sprinkled atop a red-sauced pie along with pepperoni, California-made Italian sausage, hand-sliced portobello mushrooms and green onions."
"Founded in 1981 on the Capitola beach, the family-owned Pizza My Heart is now up to 29 restaurants, with San Jose home to half a dozen. In the East Bay, besides Fremont and Dublin, there are also pizzerias in the Contra Costa County cities of Pleasant Hill and San Ramon, and one in Tracy in San Joaquin County. A Walnut Creek location recently closed."
"Details: Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, until 10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday. 39010 Argonaut Way, Fremont; www.pizzamyheart.com"
