Several unions, students, and organizations supported International Worker's Day and Palestinian solidarity through marches, sit-ins, and camps across the Bay Area.
The Port of Oakland shutdown did not occur as planned, but smaller gatherings took place in West Oakland BART station and tent cities were erected at UC Berkeley and Stanford in solidarity.
