Chris Dumesnil's Aydea restaurant is expanding from SoMa to a new location on Geary Boulevard in Inner Richmond on March 14. This strategic move aims to attract families and weekenders while maintaining the original spot for downtown workers. The new menu will include unique dishes like uchpuchmak and brunch items such as the Tartar breakfast, alongside favorites from the SoMa location. The drink offerings will focus on nonalcoholic options, reflecting the cultural background of Tartarstan, where many people avoid alcohol. With organic ingredients and a commitment to quality, Aydea is gaining a loyal following.
"We're opening Aydea in the Richmond to make sure that we're closer to people," Dumesnil says.
The new location will feature brunch with items like the Tartar breakfast and a Tartar twist on a croque madame.
