La Noisette Sweets, a French patisserie located in West Berkeley's Berkeley Kitchens space, is closing its doors on April 1 after approximately 10 years of operation. Owner Alain Shocron announced the closure via Instagram, expressing gratitude for shared memories and experiences. The bakery offered French-style pastries with influences from Italian, Moroccan, Spanish, and Canadian cuisines. Following the closure, Mild Cloud Bakery, a pop-up specializing in Japanese milk bread, will occupy the same location beginning in April.
