A shooting at EZ's Lounge nightclub in downtown Oakland on Saturday morning resulted in seven victims, two of whom were killed. The deceased were identified as Latetia Bobo, 33, an eighth-grade English language arts teacher at Caliber Beta Academy charter school, and Markise Martin, 25, a father of a one-year-old daughter from Stockton. Police responded to reports of gunfire just after 3:30 a.m. on the 400 block of 14th Street. Officers provided aid to victims until paramedics arrived. Bobo died at the scene while Martin was transported to a hospital. The school canceled classes to honor Bobo, and a GoFundMe was established to support Martin's funeral expenses and his daughter.
