Stolen Nike Jordan shoes worth over $200,000 recovered during California arrests

Seven individuals were arrested in Anaheim for suspected involvement in a theft of over $200,000 worth of Nike Jordan shoes from a train, highlighting ongoing cargo theft issues in California.

The stolen footwear was reportedly taken from a train container in San Bernardino County, and evidence such as burglary tools was discovered during the suspects' apprehension.

The CHP's Border Division's Cargo Theft Interdiction Program played a crucial role in tracking the vehicles used in the theft, indicating proactive measures against cargo crime.

Authorities pointed out that the Inland Empire is one of the most affected regions in California for cargo theft, alongside Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay area, and San Diego.
