According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Silverado crossed into oncoming traffic while traveling northbound and crashed into a grey Kia sedan. Thompson-Scott was driving the sedan. Police said she was not seat-belted.
The CHP has not provided updates on their conditions.
