Nicholas Hoult relished chance to work in perhaps Eastwood's final film

Hoult expressed surprise at Eastwood's interest, stating, "It was quite surprising that Clint came forward and offered me the role in Juror #2. It’s a dream opportunity."

Reflecting on Eastwood's directing style, Hoult shared, "What's wonderful about Clint is his confidence as a filmmaker... he's able to let the audience think and spend time to just kind of sit with it."

Discussing Eastwood's advice on acting, Hoult recalled, "He said, 'You know, it’s an emotional art form. You don’t overthink too much. You just do.' That always stuck with me."
