We don't want people to come downtown, park in front of the (New) Mecca, have lunch or have dinner, get back in their car and leave town.
Creating those moments are what helps create a sense of place... it's a place where you can see and be seen, where you can kill a few hours.
The mural program is something the city is really passionate about... It's just absolutely fantastic.
