After being ahead by three votes yesterday, Low on Thursday didn't pick up any new votes in the latest round of results, while Simitian picked up four - two in Santa Clara County and two in San Mateo County.
Santa Clara County said it had 1,025 ballots still left to be counted, though 1,000 of those have been challenged because of signature issues or other problems. San Mateo County has 633 uncounted ballots, with 629 of them challenged.
