BERKELEY A veteran Bay Area real estate firm is eyeing a housing complex with hundreds of residences in downtown Berkeley that could rise on the site of an existing office building and parking lot, public documents show.An affiliate of srmErnst Development Partners owns the property for the proposed project at the corner of Milvia Street and Addison Street in downtown Berkeley, according to Alameda County real estate records.
