Caltrans announced that a $5.4 million paving project on state Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County will resume, taking about three weeks to complete.
The project will result in possible lane closures, with one northbound lane closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., and a similar schedule for the southbound lane.
Pavement rehabilitation will occur from a mile north of the Buena Vista Bridge to the Rio Del Mar Bridge, with work expected to finish by November 15.
Granite Rock Construction, based in Watsonville, is managing the four-mile project to improve highway conditions and ensure safety.
