Jeswal Prakash, a 29-year-old man from Hayward, is back in jail facing serious charges of attempted murder after allegedly firing shots at a victim on May 5, striking their garage and vehicle. This incident follows a prior gang-related conviction where he served time for assaulting with a semiautomatic firearm. Prakash was previously implicated in a major gang investigation called Operation Winter Storm. Currently held at Santa Rita Jail with a bail of $500,000, his next court date is set for May 22.
