Boy abducted in Oakland more than 70 years ago found living on East Coast
Briefly

Luis Armando Albino, who was abducted at 6 years old in Oakland in 1951, has finally been found, thanks to a determined search by his family.
Albino's niece, Alida Alequin, used DNA testing and newspaper archives to locate him on the East Coast, demonstrating remarkable tenacity in unraveling this decades-long mystery.
Alida Alequin shared that her mother always believed Albino was alive; "She always felt he was alive. She took that with her to her grave."
The reunion between Albino and his family came after Alequin found photos confirming his identity, after starting her search through a DNA test back in 2020.
