Adoption fees waived to find homes for pets after fire at humane society
Briefly

The fire that occurred on December 16 has significantly damaged the Humane Society Silicon Valley, rendering half of the shelter unusable, including the medical center and animal holding areas. However, the community's response has been overwhelming, with numerous individuals stepping forward to help as well as a large donation covering adoption fees to facilitate the rehoming of affected animals. HSSV is grateful for the support and aims to find loving homes for their adoptees.
As we work on rebuilding the shelter after the devastating fire, we urgently need the community's support in finding safe, loving homes for our animals. The adoption fees for all pets are currently sponsored thanks to the generosity of The Sobrato Family and The Family of Wilbur and Indy, allowing potential adopters to welcome a new furry friend without financial burden. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit our website and meet the adoptable pets.
