As the fire quickly spread, around 10 structures have been impacted, with several more still threatened. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
Residents are urged to leave urgently, bringing all pets and essential items with them, and are advised to take only one car while evacuating.
Evacuation warnings are currently in effect for multiple neighborhoods in Oakland Hills, with at least five designated evacuation points set up for residents.
The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning, indicating that dry, windy conditions could lead to especially damaging fires, which remains in effect through Sunday.
