Mr Justice Fancourt ruled in December last year that Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) used unlawful information gathering in 15 articles about the duke after a High Court trial.
In January this year, the duke also withdrew a claim against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over a February 2022 article about his legal challenge against the Home Office, following a decision to change his publicly funded security arrangements when visiting the UK.
