Venmo and Bilt Rewards will allow users to pay rent, mortgages, and neighborhood merchants directly through Venmo beginning in early 2026. Bilt serves more than 5 million members across one in four residential buildings and offers Bilt Points redeemable for travel, home goods, and down payments. Users can pay from the Bilt or Venmo app using Venmo balance, a linked bank account, or a card, split rent with roommates, and shop at over 45,000 local businesses in the Bilt network while earning rewards. The rollout was announced at Money20/20 as Venmo’s biggest expansion to date.
