Massive Staten Island warehouse project slated to open in 2025
Briefly

An industrial warehouse project at Arthur Kill Road and Nassau Place in Richmond Valley will serve as a storage hub for manufactured goods. Demand for warehousing space in New York City is surging, largely due to e-commerce. The facility, named One Nassau Place, will feature 331,700 square feet of warehouse space, with 60 loading docks and two drive-in doors. It is part of the NYC Industrial & Commercial Abatement Program, which offers tax incentives. The project faced initial disapproval but gained approval from the City Planning Commission in late 2022.
"Warehousing and distribution space is in high demand across New York City, driven primarily by e-commerce growth," noted part of a zoning application filed for the property in 2022.
The facility offers 331,700 square feet of divisible warehouse space with 60 loading docks and two drive-in doors.
According to New York City Planning documents, the project was disapproved by Community Board 3 in October 2022, but approved by the City Planning Commission later that same year.
The Proposed Development, a high-cube warehouse, would be used for the storage and/or consolidation of manufactured goods.
