Sony Pictures is adapting Django/Zorro, a comic co-written by Quentin Tarantino, into a movie. Brian Helgeland will write the adaptation. The comic features Django, who teams up with Zorro, set years after Django Unchained. Tarantino is not directing this project and has approved a different director. He is also not directing the sequel to Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, which will be directed by David Fincher. Tarantino is currently focused on his first play, The Popinjay Cavalier, debuting in 2027.
