The investigation found that the Rapid Support Forces (R.S.F.) in Sudan have been implicated in crimes against humanity, including the deliberate targeting of civilians and public atrocities.
We documented how R.S.F. commanders used both propaganda and evidence of abuses in videos, ultimately revealing their roles in orchestrating attacks against civilian populations.
Our research aims to illustrate the extent of the R.S.F.'s involvement in war crimes, by identifying at least 20 commanders linked to numerous atrocities.
The complexity of the R.S.F.'s command structure made it challenging to trace accountability, but our investigation has provided clarity on who was behind the violence.
