The Museum of All Things: A Wikipedia You Can Visit | HackerNoon
Briefly

The Museum of All Things (MoAT) is an innovative virtual museum that transforms Wikipedia articles into an immersive and interactive experience. This free, open-source platform generates unique exhibits based on Wikipedia's extensive knowledge base. Creator Maya faced significant challenges in developing a coherent and engaging space from the vast amount of information. Despite difficulties in ensuring each exhibit was interesting and navigable, she utilized Godot's GridMap feature to enhance the museum's physicality and uniqueness, reflecting her passion for both museums and game development.
The hardest part of this project has been turning something as huge as Wikipedia into a procedurally-generated space that makes sense and is fun to explore.
I love that the skills of game development let me create a project like this, even though it's outside the traditional genres of video games.
