Carly Still encountered unique plants like skirret, weld, and costmary at the Met Cloisters, along with familiar ones she had previously removed, such as stinging nettle, burdock, and dandelions.
Surprisingly, invasive plants like mugwort from Europe and northern Asia were thriving in the garden. Costmary, with a spearmint scent and a common name of Bible leaf, added a refreshing touch.
