"October's price cap rise of 10 percent is unwelcome news for all households and another indicator of why it is important to take control of your heating consumption and bills," says Tado in a press release.
"With savings of 19 percent on average in the UK, the new Tado X products will pay for themselves within a few months and then go on to save customers money as well as cutting their carbon footprint."
For homes with heat pumps, Tado says its new Heat Pump Optimizer X can help increase savings further, requiring a subscription to Tado's Balance service.
