Using Meta's smart glasses, two Harvard students demonstrated a method to obtain personal information on strangers in public using facial recognition and AI.
The I-XRAY system allows the students to efficiently garner data about individuals, automatically accessing details like names, occupations, and even partial Social Security Numbers.
While the students aimed to raise awareness about privacy concerns, they acknowledged the potential misuse of the technology for harassment or stalking.
