It's clear that all the misogynistic, racist, and undemocratic things Trump has done do not negate his appeal to millions. Many Americans want him in charge.
Even Republicans who cringe at Trump's rhetoric often approve of his policies, such as those on the economy and border security, demonstrating a complex support.
In an effort to connect with diverse voters, Trump suggested that without parental consent, children's identities could change at school, highlighting his controversial approach to social issues.
