Lost luggage? Apple AirTag users can now share location with these airlines
Briefly

With the recently released iOS/iPadOS 18.2 and MacOS Sequoia 15.2, you can now create a shareable link for the location of lost AirTags, enhancing the chances of recovering lost luggage.
This new feature allows airline personnel to track bags in areas inaccessible to the general public, making it easier for them to assist passengers in locating their missing items.
Apple has partnered with over 15 airlines to support this feature, including major airlines like United, Delta, and Air Canada, with more to come.
Privacy concerns are addressed as location sharing stops automatically when the item is found and can be manually turned off at any time.
