LinkedIn is introducing measures to ease the verification process for users who prefer not to use their legal names. By allowing users to list their real names as secondary titles, LinkedIn aims to cater to the needs of those with alternate identities. This change comes alongside their existing voluntary ID verification feature, which has been embraced by about 80 million users and adds credibility to profiles. Notably, the real name will appear in parentheses and remain private to non-logged-in users, preserving the user's alternate identity.
