If you need to be connected to the internet but there's no Wi-Fi or cellular signal nearby, then you have to look up to the skies -- to the satellites whooshing 340 miles above your head at dizzying speeds.
My solution is to power the Starlink Mini dish using a power bank and a suitable USB-C to DC cable. Starlink's own specs say the Mini dish needs a minimum of a 100W power source.
While satellite systems can be limiting due to cost, data transfer speeds, and flexibility, a portable satellite comms unit can provide a workable solution for internet connectivity without cellular or Wi-Fi access.
It’s vital to find a clear patch of sky to connect, but powering the dish can be challenging when far from a power outlet, making a power bank a practical alternative.
